Michigan’s 1st Annual Spring Fling Burlesque Festival 2013, will take place Saturday April 13th, at Detroit’s Historical 1515 Broadway Theater.
There will be two shows this evening, so that everyone can catch a peep of the rumble that will be in this limited seating engagement.
The early show (8:00pm) and a late show (10:30pm).

Join us for an evening exploding with Jazz and Burlesque! Illuminating your night with flirting, frolicking, and a variety of fabulousness. As Burlesquers from across the nation descend upon the D! Starring burlesque royalty Donna Denise of Dallas, Texas and Bella Sin of Cleveland, Ohio! Also featuring Chicava Honeychild of New York, Detroit’s very own twisted clown, Satori Circus, as well as the sexy satire of Dee Luxxx’s Honey Bunny Variety Burlesque with her Handsome Hares lead by Saxophonist extraordinaire Mr. Michael Monford!

Detroit has rich history in burlesque due to the Black Bottom-Paradise Valley area on the city’s east side, which was known for its significant contribution to music and dance from the 1930’s to the 1950’s. Famous for Blues, Big Band, and Jazz. We are home to Burlesque Hall of Famers, Lottie the Body and Toni Elling. What a perfect place for to reunite meld the two.
The evening will be filled with the live music and the night will continue to keep you wanting more with the pulsating vibes brought to us by the one and only Mix Master Craig Huckaby!!!!
This is the cherry popper of what’s to come from of burlesque in Detroit!!! BURLESQUE IS AN ART FORM THAT WE DARE NOT LET FALL BY THE WAYSIDE. WE EMBRACE THE BOOB!
