Do you feel like you can’t take a good picture? Are you tired of not being able to walk in heels? Do you feel uninspired when told to strike a pose? Even if you’re not a burlesque dancer, learning some tips and tricks about posture, extension, and foot placement instantly make you appear more polished onstage and for pictures.

Burlesque Basics Breakdown 12:30pm – 1:30pm
A one-hour crash course/drills class focusing on full body undulations, controlled chest shimmies, hip articulations (bumps and grinds), spins and across-the-floor dance basics. Great basic dance tools/drills for newer dancers!

Instructor bio:
Eva la Feva is a nationally touring burlesque and belly dance performer/producer that has been delighting audiences for over a decade with her fluid, stylized dance technique base and her emotive and theatrical approach to burlesque.
In 2016, Eva formed “Feva Pitch Productions,” and event production company specializing in burlesque/nightlife entertainment. In addition, Eva helped co-found Burlesque Community Against Unsafe Spaces (BCAUS) in 2016, a community action group designed to foster safe spaces in the Chicago burlesque scene. In 2016, Eva was awarded the Judith Stein scholarship to the Edmonton Burlesque Festival
