This 6-week Hooping 101 course is for new hoopers wishing to dive head first into the world of hooping. This course will cover everything from grace and movement within the hoop to tosses and foot hooping, giving students a strong foundation to begin their hoop dance journey. Equally focused on technique and flow, this course will be both a core workout and a meditation. Hooping 101 is perfect for those looking to gain the muscle memory and confidence to incorporate hooping into their individual lifestyles, whether it be for performance, fitness or relaxation.
Students doing the full 6-week course will be asked to purchase a hoop for $20 on the first day of classes unless they already own one of performance-quality. These decorated hoops are hand made from nearly indestructible tubing and will be offered in a variety of weights, colors and sizes.
