If you are a beginner or intermediate hooper looking for an opportunity to perform a choreographed hoop routine with fellow aspiring hoop-stars, here is your class!

In this 6 week course students will expand their hooping abilities and be given a strong foundation for their own future hoop dance journey. Ranging from flow and movement within the hoop to tosses and foot hooping, we will cover the skills required to enhance grace and balance as well as core strength and agility all in the context of performance and choreography.

At the end of the 6 weeks students will perform a group act in a Burlesque Student Showcase alongside acts put on by the Burlesque 101 class graduates. If a student does not own a hoop he or she will be able to purchase a custom taped hoop fitted specifically to their needs – these range from $20-$30. Each student will also be responsible for purchasing their own (reasonably priced) performance outfit (which will be discussed in class). All skill levels welcome!
